Antenatal care including antenatal screening :
Caring for you during pregnancy. We have all the needed resources that will make this experience a beautiful one. During the antenatal period you book regular appointments to meet with your obstetrician at a time that is convenient to you. Our friendly receptionist will call to remind you of your appointment. Our exceptional antenatal records book is to help fulfil our promise of making pregnancy a delight. A comprehensive antenatal screening is carried out and results from the screening are discussed with you in utmost confidentiality. During your pregnancy especially for first-time mothers, you are taken through childbirth classes by our in CAPPA certified childbirth educator (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association of America). This is to prepare you for what to expect during pregnancy, labour and delivery. Getting to the end of pregnancy you are showed around the wards, labour ward and the theatre. Then you will have special classes on labour, what to expect, and how to cope with the pains.
Intra-partum care:
During labour we provide several resources including the birthing ball, some aerobics and massages that will aid labour. Patients in our private wards are allowed to receive support from close relatives during labour. Closest relatives as will be indicated by the patient are also allowed into the labour ward during delivery.
Post-natal care:
Post natal care at Resolve includes regular visits agreed upon with your obstetrician to clear all post partum conditions that may crop up. It also includes a discussion on contraceptive and family planning strategy. Your baby will also receive a thorough new born physical examination from our pediatrician. This may include drawing some blood from your baby if necessary.
